Sports Stats Limited, a company registered in England and Wales ("we", "us", "our"), publishes the iOS application Airline Director (the "App").

The Short Version

Airline Director does not collect, transmit or sell any personal data. There is no account to create, no sign-in, no advertising and no analytics SDK. The App has no networking code of its own: your saved games live on your device and nowhere else.

The only exception is in-app purchases, which are handled entirely by Apple. We never see your payment details.

1. Information We Do Not Collect

We want to be specific, because "we value your privacy" is not information. The App does not collect, store or transmit your name, email address, phone number or postal address; your Apple Account details or any credentials; location data (the App does not request location permission); contacts, photos, calendars, microphone or camera access; device identifiers, advertising identifiers (IDFA) or fingerprinting signals; usage analytics, crash telemetry or behavioural events; or anything at all through a third-party analytics or advertising SDK — the App integrates none.

Accordingly, the App's App Store privacy label is Data Not Collected.

2. Information Stored on Your Device

The App writes saved games — up to three slots, covering your airline, fleet, network, finances and history — as files in the App's own Documents directory, so you can resume a save. It also stores settings and purchase flags, such as whether an unlock has been purchased and credits queued for the next turn, so your settings and purchases persist.

This data never leaves your device. We cannot read it, and it is not transmitted to us or to anyone else. It is included in an encrypted iPhone or iCloud device backup only if you have configured iOS to back up the App's data; that backup is governed by Apple's privacy policy, not ours.

Deleting the App deletes this data. There is no copy on a server for us to delete.

3. In-App Purchases

The App offers optional in-app purchases (investment credits and content unlocks). These transactions are processed by Apple through the App Store using StoreKit. Apple handles payment, receipts and refunds — we never receive or store your payment card details, billing address or Apple Account identifier. The App reads Apple's on-device transaction records solely to determine which products you own, so it can unlock them and restore them on a new device. Apple provides us with aggregated, anonymised sales reports that contain no information that identifies you.

Apple's handling of your data is governed by Apple's Privacy Policy.

4. Legal Basis (UK GDPR and EU GDPR)

Because we do not collect or process personal data, we do not rely on a legal basis for processing and we do not act as a data controller in respect of App usage. Apple is the controller for purchase and App Store account data.

5. Your Rights

Under the UK GDPR and the EU GDPR you have rights of access, rectification, erasure, restriction, objection and portability in respect of your personal data.

We hold no personal data about you, so in practice there is nothing for us to disclose, correct or erase. If you believe otherwise, contact us using the details below and we will investigate and respond within one month. For data held by Apple in connection with your purchases, please make your request to Apple.

You may also complain to the UK Information Commissioner's Office (ico.org.uk) or, in the EEA, to your local supervisory authority.

6. Children

The App is a business management game intended for a general audience. It does not collect personal data from anyone, including children, and contains no advertising, social features, user-generated content or external links to web content.

The App does contain paid in-app purchases. Parents and guardians can disable these using Screen Time → Content & Privacy Restrictions → iTunes & App Store Purchases on the device.

7. Security

The App stores its data inside its own iOS container, protected by the device's sandboxing and, where the device has a passcode set, by iOS file encryption. As no data is transmitted, there is no transmission to intercept.

8. Changes to This Policy

We may update this policy — for example, if a future version of the App adds a feature such as cloud saves or leaderboards. We will change the "Last updated" date above and, where the change is material, note it in the App's release notes. Continued use of the App after a change constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
