Welcome to Pickup Buddy! These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of our mobile application ("App") and services provided by Pickup Buddy ("we," "us," "our"). By using our App, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use our App.
1. Service Overview
Pickup Buddy helps users track flight arrivals and departures to facilitate airport pickups and drop-offs. Key features include:
- Searching for flights by number or airport
- Viewing arrivals and departures for specific airports
- Saving flights to your device for quick access
- Adding the names of individuals for pickup or drop-off coordination
- Displaying all saved flights on the home page
2. Eligibility
To use Pickup Buddy, you must:
- Be at least 18 years old or have parental consent if under 18.
- Agree to comply with these Terms and all applicable laws and regulations.
3. Subscriptions and Payments
- Subscription Options: Pickup Buddy offers both recurring subscription plans and a non-recurring weekly access option.
- Fees: By purchasing a subscription, you agree to pay the listed fee and any applicable taxes.
- Billing: Subscription fees will be billed in advance on a recurring basis according to your selected plan. If you choose the weekly access option, you will be billed once at the time of purchase.
- Cancellation: You can cancel your subscription anytime through the App settings. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period, and you will not receive a refund for any unused portion.
4. Usage Rights and Restrictions
- You are granted a limited, non-exclusive, and non-transferable license to use Pickup Buddy for personal or commercial use, such as airport pickup services.
- You may not use Pickup Buddy for illegal activities, violate any third-party rights, or use our App to harm or disrupt other users' experiences.
5. User-Generated Content
- Saved Flight Information: When you save flights and add names to your list, you are responsible for ensuring this information is accurate and up to date.
- Privacy: Any personal information saved in the App (e.g., names of individuals for pickup or drop-off) will be stored locally on your device and is not shared with third parties unless required by law.
6. Data and Privacy
- Pickup Buddy values your privacy. Please refer to our Privacy Policy for details on how we collect, use, and protect your information.
- Flight Information: While we strive to provide accurate flight data, we do not guarantee the timeliness or accuracy of this information, as it may rely on third-party sources.
7. Limitation of Liability
- Pickup Buddy is provided "as-is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, either express or implied. We do not guarantee the availability, accuracy, or reliability of flight or airport information.
- We are not liable for any damages arising from or related to your use or inability to use Pickup Buddy, including lost profits, data loss, or service interruptions.
8. Termination
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your access to Pickup Buddy at our discretion, with or without notice, if you violate these Terms.
9. Changes to the Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. Any changes will be effective upon posting within the App. Your continued use of the App constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms.
10. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes arising from these Terms will be resolved in the courts of England and Wales.
