1. Data We Do Not Collect

Grand Check-In does not collect:

• Your name, email address, or any contact information
• Location data
• Device identifiers or advertising IDs
• Usage analytics or gameplay telemetry
• Crash reports sent to us
• Any form of behavioural tracking data

2. Save Data and iCloud

Your game progress is saved locally on your device and, if you have iCloud enabled, synced to your personal iCloud account via CloudKit.

• Save data is stored in your personal iCloud account and is subject to Apple's iCloud Privacy Policy
• We do not have access to your save data at any point
• Disabling iCloud sync in your device settings will keep save data local only
• Deleting the App will remove local save data; iCloud copies are managed through your iCloud account settings at Settings > Apple ID > iCloud > Manage Storage

3. Apple App Store

When you purchase and download the App through the Apple App Store, Apple collects certain information in accordance with their own privacy practices. We receive only aggregate, anonymised sales and download reports from Apple — we never receive individual customer data or identifiers.

4. In-App Purchases

Any in-app purchases are processed entirely by Apple via StoreKit. We do not receive, process, or store any payment information. All billing and transaction data remains with Apple.

5. Children's Privacy

Grand Check-In does not collect any personal information from anyone, including children under the age of 13. Because no data is collected, the App complies with the Children's Online Privacy Protection Act (COPPA) and equivalent regulations.

6. Third-Party Services

The App does not integrate any third-party SDKs for analytics, advertising, crash reporting, or social features. There are no third-party services that receive data through the App.

7. Data Security

Because we do not collect or transmit personal data, there is no personal data held by us that could be subject to a breach. Your save data stored in iCloud is protected by Apple's iCloud security infrastructure.

8. UK GDPR and Data Protection

As a company registered in England and Wales, we comply with the UK General Data Protection Regulation (UK GDPR) and the Data Protection Act 2018.

8.1 Legal Basis for Processing

Because Grand Check-In does not collect personal data, there is no personal data processing by us to declare a legal basis for. The only data processing that occurs is:

• Local device storage: Entirely under your control, not accessible to us
• iCloud sync (optional): Processed by Apple under their own data controller responsibilities

8.2 Your UK GDPR Rights

Under UK GDPR, you have the right to:

• Be informed about how your data is used (this Privacy Policy)
• Access your personal data
• Rectify inaccurate data
• Erase your data ("right to be forgotten")
• Restrict processing
• Data portability
• Object to processing
• Rights related to automated decision-making

As we hold no personal data about you, exercising most of these rights will result in confirmation that no data is held. We will always respond to any request promptly.

9. Your Rights

Since we hold no personal data about you, there is no personal data to access, correct, export, or delete on our end. For data held in iCloud, you can manage that directly through your Apple ID account settings at appleid.apple.com.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Any changes will be reflected by updating the "Last Updated" date at the top of this document. Continued use of the App after any update constitutes your acceptance of the revised policy.
